Filing tax in Sri Lanka meant wrestling forms, spreadsheets, and guesswork. Salli turns that into a guided, legible flow — money and tax that ordinary people can actually reason about.

The challenge

Tax and personal finance tools in the market treated users like accountants. The product had to make filing understandable to someone doing it for the first time, in a local context most software ignores.

The approach

We scoped around real Sri Lankan filing scenarios, designed a guided flow over a rules engine, and layered AI assistance where it reduced confusion — not where it added novelty for its own sake.

The outcome

A live app that makes money and tax legible for individuals — grounded in local rules, defensible in its logic, and built to keep pace as regulations change.
